It’s film week on RTE’s Home School Hub, and who better to teach the children a thing or two about movies, than Oscar-nominated director Lenny Abrahamson.
The man behind the acclaimed movie Room and of course RTE’s hit tv show Normal People, Lenny will be discussing all the behind-the-scenes action from sets across the world, and how he brings these projects to life.
As well as this, some of the team from Cartoon Saloon will teach the children about what goes on in an animation studio, and how their favourite shows are created.
Throughout the week, muinteoir Ray will look at critical thinking and writing movie reviews, John will be discussing music score and storyboarding and Cliona will talk about Lotte Reiniger, a German director who was the foremost pioneer of silhouette animation.
