Dickie Rock and Johnny Logan have agreed to bury the hatchet, ending what could be the shortest feud in the history of Irish celebs.
The pair came to blows over the weekend as Johnny claimed Dickie was living in a fantasy world, and furious, Dickie vowed to give him a ‘f***ing box”.
In a statement issued to Liveline, Johnny apologised for the comments and revealed his hopes to repair the friendship.
“Last week I did an interview with the Irish Times on which I was asked to comment on a statement Dickie had made,” he said.

“I told the reporter that it was none of her business but then went on to make some remarks about Dickie which at the time I meant jokingly. I regret those remarks now and I apologise publicly to Dickie.
“Dickie and I have been friends for many years and I hope that no lasting damage has been done to our friendship. He’s an Irish icon and has my respect.”
Responding to the comments, 82-year-old Dickie accepted his apology and agreed to move on.
“Johnny Logan was, and still is, a gentleman and a great performer,” he said.
“We were all friends in this crazy business and we will still be, going forward.”
Well there you have it!
