Dermot O’Leary is set to return to our tv screens, as he’ll be hosting ITV’s This Morning over the summer.

The Irish presenter will be taking over from Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as they enjoy some time off.

Over the next few weeks, Dermot will share the presenting duties with show regulars, Rochelle Humes, Alison Hammond, Ore Oduba and of course, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

This won’t be the first time Dermot has appeared on the show, as he previously guest presented back in 2014.

He has since gone on to front The X Factor, as well as hosting his own BBC radio show.

Last month Dermot and his wife Dee Koppang announced the birth of their first son, Kasper.

Sharing the news on social media, they said, “Welcome to the world baby Koppang O’Leary… We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby!

“A little boy born on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften / Midsummer for you Norwegians) at 8.19am, weighing in at 6lb 13oz.

“Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble… cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x”
