Dermot Kennedy has quite the adventure ahead of him as he gets set to embark on the biggest tour of America and Canada that he’s done yet.
The 28-date tour run will kick off in Vancouver making stops at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City and additional stops in Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston before wrapping up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in mid-June.
Just days away from his first gig on May 6th, the Irish musician decided to stop and reflect on Instagram ahead of his Sonder tour.
“I want to connect with you guys like I never have before on this run,” he began his post.

“It already has an extra powerful feeling about it in my head. I just know it’s going to be a different level.
“It’s one of the most beautiful journeys you can take, going across America like this. Through all the small towns, all the different landscapes.
“I immerse myself in all of it and it inevitably feeds into the music I play.”
Dermot then expressed his thanks and gratitude for fans throughout the years, saying he wouldn’t be able to do what he does without them.
“These are some massive venues we’re about to play and you’ve supported me for years so I want to show you how much I appreciate that and make these shows truly special for you.”
He concluded his post by encouraging fans to get in touch and letting him know which show they’re coming to.
“I promise I’ll read through all of them. I can’t wait to see you,” he wrote.
We wish him the very best of luck as he begins this exciting journey!
