A host of new artists have been added to this year’s Glastonbury line-up, including none other than Irish singer-songwriter, Dermot Kennedy.
With just three weeks to go ’til the beginning of the festival, we can’t wait to see Dermot and all the other incredible acts take to the stage.
The 31-year-old took to his Instagram to reveal he had been added to the Glastonbury line-up.
He posted a couple of pictures including a large colourful poster telling his fans: “I am playing Glastonbury Festival 2023.”
Dermot captioned the post: “So honoured to be playing @glastofest this summer!!”

He continued on revealing that he first played in Glastonbury way back in 2019 to a meagre 5,000 people.
He included a photo of his previous performance where you could see the smaller crowd gathered around the stage – a true rise to fame.
He said: “My first time playing there was all the way back in 2019, at the John Peel Stage to around 5,000 of you.”
Reminiscing on his rise to fame he said: “So much has happened since and I feel like this one’s going to be special!!”
Fans raced to the comments delighted to hear that their favourite singer would be performing on the big stage. Some even commented on just how intense it will be.
They commented: “2019 was SUCH a good set! I’m scared to think of how intense this might be. Is it possible to book an ambulance for personal standby?! Asking for a friend 🚑
