Dancing With The Stars Ireland enjoyed a successful debut season on RTE earlier this year, with former Inter County footballer Aidan O’Mahony eventually taking away the crown.
Much to our excitement, the dancing reality show has been confirmed for another season, with our favourite judges Julian Benson, Loraine Barry, and Brian Redmond also coming back to our screens.
The glamorous trio spoke about season two of the show in RTE yesterday, and they have some ideas about who they would like to see take part!
“Alison Spittle would be gas, could you imagine?” Julian said at the launch of RTE’s new season.
“Miriam O’Callaghan I would love,”
“I’d like Vogue, oh my goodness I mean those legs!” Loraine interluded.
“Vogue would be great and Crystal Swing, do you know what I mean? You’ve got to think outside the box.
“I’d like Nathan Carter or his brother, they’d be great too,” Julian concluded.
When asked have any big stars been contracted for this year’s show, the judges remained tight lipped.
“We just do glitz, glamour and fashion!” Julian laughed
“We haven’t even been told if so-and-so is interested.
“That’s what we ask, the first question we ask is ‘have you got a big list or a short list or what?’
“But they did say they had got a lot of interest. There’s some box-office names, lets put it that way.”
