With Dancing with the Stars set to return to our screen in the new year, RTÉ has now confirmed the line-up of professional dancers for the highly anticipated show.

While we can expect plenty of familiar faces with eight returning favourites, fans should also be prepared to welcome three new pros – Simone Arena, Montel Hewson & Jillian Bromwich.

Simone, who is the most recent winner of the Belgian version of the show teased the big announcement last week saying he was “looking forward” to sharing “exciting news” soon.

“I can’t tell you what I am up to. So I am just gonna post another picture and not say anything else, hope you don’t mind that! Looking forward to sharing with you some exciting news.”

While Montel Hewson and Jillian Bromwich have recently been crowned the Irish Under 21 World Champions.

Returning favourites include Karen Byrne – marking her the only pro dancer to have appeared in every season of the show and Polish dancer Robert Rowiński, who reached the final with singer Brooke Scullion last year.

Meanwhile, Laura Nolan, Kylee Vincent, and Stephen Vincent are gearing up for their fourth consecutive series and dancers Denys Samson, Ervinas Merfeldas and Salome Chachua are returning for their third season.

So now that we have our pro dancers, the question on everyone’s mind is which celebrities could possibly be taking to the floor?

While several names have been throwing their name in the hat in the ring, no one has been confirmed to join the line-up.

Although rumours are swirling that an RTÉ legend could be strutting their stuff across the dancefloor next year.

It’s even been reported that Eileen Dunne has been in talks to join the show.

We can’t wait to see the lineup!
