Dami Hope shares his pride in girlfriend Indiyah Polack as she lands major Love Island role

Indiyah Polack is returning to Love Island!

Now for most boyfriends, this would be a pretty worrying sign, but her Wicklow beau Dami Hope has no need to panic as Indiyah isn’t heading back as a contestant, but as a host.

The London gal was announced as one of the hosts of the official Love Island podcast, The Morning After, alongside Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson. The pair will also feature as regular panelists on Love Island: Aftersun.

Considering the popularity of Love Island this an absolutely massive gig, so naturally Dami is incredible proud of his girl. Taking to Instagram to celebrate her career move, he wrote: “So proud of youuu”

Sharing the news of her new gig on Instagram, Indiyah shared her joy at taking on the new job.

Writing: “WHAT A WAY TO START THE YEAR!!! Super excited to announce that I’m the newest Love Island Podcast host with the amazing [Sam Thompson] not only that but an Aftersun panellist alongside [Maya Jama] and Sam honestly such a pinch me moment to be back on your screens again!!! Ready for the ride and all the drama”

Sam also made the announced on Instagram, writing: “Today… a young, Love Island super fans dreams all came true You’re looking at the HOSTS of the OFFICIAL LOVE ISLAND PODCAST BABY!!!”

“Not only that, but I will be a regular feature on Aftersun alongside [Maya Jama] and the absolute legend that is [Indiyah Polack] I’ve never been so excited in my life!!!!!!!”

“Bring on the tears, the tantrums, and the drama… I’m ready for it baby!!! Most importantly, I am so grateful to the Love Island team for this incredible opportunity. I watched this show for years from my sofa with a magnum every night, and I never imagined I would actually be a part of the Love Island family. This is going to be one hell of a ride!!”

And the pair won’t have to wait till summer to make a start on the new podcast as the show is set to return for its second-ever winter series! Winter Love Island is right around the corner starting Monday, January 16th.

It will be a massive shake-up as Laura Whitmore announced in the summer that she would be stepping down as the presenter. Maya Jama will step into the role, to the delight of fans.
