After confessing her feelings to Curtis last week, Maura and the pro dancer have been getting to know each other a little more – but it seems the two new Islanders are already trying put an end to any budding romance.
Francesca decides to take Curtis on a date tonight, while Chris opts to hang out with Maura.
In the Beach Hut, Maura says “The poor lad [Chris] is going to be talking to me and I’m just going to be earwigging. I want to hear the way Curtis is behaving!”
During their date, sitting just feet apart from each other, Chris can sense her unease and asks Maura how she feels about the situation.
“It’s not really ideal…” says Maura.
