CrimeCall is set to make it’s season debut tonight with a brand new look and presenter.
Viewers have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the new series and although it’s finally returned to it’s primetime spot, there have been a number of changes made to the show namely, the presenter.
Original presenter of the show, Gráinne Seoige has been axed and replaced with RTÉ broadcaster and presenter, Keelin Shanley.
Among the cases on tonight’s show are a casino robbery and a missing persons case as well as an interview with Rosie Dolan, sister of Andrew Dolan, who died after an assault on Pearse Street in Mullingar on December 23, 2011.
Each month this long-running, popular programme uses reconstructions, CCTV footage and live studio appeals to look for information from the public, to help with Garda investigations. Calls to the programme have helped lead to numerous convictions over the previous 12 series.
Tune into CrimeCall tonight on RTÉ at 9.35pm.
