A host of country music stars have teamed up to release a brand new charity single.
Popular musicians Nathan Carter, Johnny Logan, Brian Kennedy, Chloe Agnew, Tommy Fleming and Sean Keane all united to bring us ‘Stay At Home, Stay Alive’, a collaboration track raising vital funds for frontline healthcare staff.
All proceeds from the single will be split between Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) and the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
Taking to Instagram, the music stars encouraged their fans to get involved and support the single.
Nathan Carter wrote: “Our charity single is at No.1 in the UK and Irish Country charts and sitting at number 2 in the mainstream Irish charts. Can we get it to number 1?”
“Let’s get everyone sharing a picture of themselves with a piece of paper saying #StayAtHomeStayAlive & tag 5 friends to do the same,” he added, spreading even more awareness of the worthy cause.
Elsewhere, musician Chloe Agnew told her fans that she “took the last few weeks to hibernate and spend some quality time with family that was much needed, while I try to get my head around what’s going on in the world.”
She admitted: “These are scary times we are living in and If you’re like me and are just as confused, anxious and unsure of everything that’s ahead, remember hope is the only thing stronger than fear and here’s hoping we can get through this together if we keep doing what we’re doing.”
“Proud to have been asked to join these wonderful Irish artists to help spread this message.
“All recorded separately in isolation at home, but as always, music unites us. Stay safe, stay at home, stay alive.”
