Wolfe Tones legend Brian Warfield has revealed that he is open to appearing on Dancing with the Stars.
Yes, the popular celebrity dancing competition is set to return to RTE in January and Brian couldn’t help but share his love for the show in a recent interview.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Brian admitted that whilst he enjoys the show, he’s not sure he’d be good at the actual dancing aspect.
But never say never!
“I like watching Dancing with the Stars but I don’t think I’d be able to dance,” he noted.
“I have two left feet. I can’t dance,” he added
“We’ll see what comes up. I’d be open to anything.”
If given the opportunity to partake, the 78-year-old would become the oldest contestant in the show’s history.
How impressive would that be!
Despite announcing their retirement earlier this year, The Wolf Tones are set to do one final farewell show in Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick next July.
The show sold out in a record time of three minutes with Brian expressing to his fans how much it meant to him and the band.
“We are truly humbled by the incredible demand to see The Wolfe Tones live, and it’s an honour to bring our music to such an iconic venue. We will talk to everyone involved to look at a possible second date for Thomond Park Stadium.”
