It seems like our fair isle could be making an appearance in the next instalment of the Bourne films.
Paul Greengrass, director of the latest Bourne movie, has revealed that he would like to shoot parts of the next part of the flick in Ireland.
The British director, who also directed Bloody Sunday, told the Irish Independent that he loves the idea of filming a car chase scene along Dublin’s River Liffey.
“Oh, that would be fantastic, I’d like that. That would be good. Down the Liffey. I have such happy memories of shooting in Dublin,” he said.
Paul isn’t the only member of the Jason Bourne crew that has a fondness of Ireland. Leading man Matt Damon visited the capital after filming wrapped on the new release, admitting that the people were lovely, and he really enjoyed his time here.
“Everybody was so unbelievably nice it couldn’t have been any better. We had the kids with us it was lovely,” he said.
We’ll certainly welcome them back to film here!
