We sure hope so!
Yes, Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan are both tipped to star in the new Beatles biopic by filmmaker Sam Mendes.
Earlier this year, Sam, who directed the Bond films Spectre and Skyfall, confirmed that he was working on a project that would develop four biopics for every member of the Beatles.
The films will all be released in 2027 and tell interconnected stories, one from each band member’s point of view.
So naturally, the question that came next was who would play the four members of the band?
Well, according to certain reports, it has now been said that Paul Mescal is being looked at for the Paul McCartney film while Barry Keoghan is being considered for Ringo.
While Harris Dickinson and Charlie Rowe will play John Lennon, and George Harrison respectively.
Could you imagine!
Of course, nothing has been confirmed and details of the four movies have been kept relatively under wraps, but still, we can’t help but get excited.
Speaking to US publication Deadline earlier this year, Sam said that his idea had been met with “universal enthusiasm.”
It is believed that shooting for the movies will begin in mid-2025.
