American rapper Chris Brown has just announced Irish tour dates on his upcoming ‘One Hell of a Nite Tour’, and the ‘Turn Up the Music’ singer will be performing in the 3Arena on the 15th of June. The singer took to Twitter yesterday to announce the news that he will be touring around Europe, and as the 26-year-old hasn’t played in Ireland since his Carpe Diem tour in December 2012, this will be a chance to find out whether we’ve finally forgiven him for that infamous episode.
In 2009, Chris was accused of beating up and biting his then girlfriend, Rihanna, with pictures of the victim provoking outrage worldwide. In the intervening seven years, however, Chris seems to have mended his ways, and even Rihanna’s father has forgiven him, recently saying that “Chris will always have a place in our family and my heart.”
Brown will also be performing in Germany, Denmark, France, Sweden, Holland and Switzerland. Tickets go on sale next Thursday the 24th of March and ‘Loyal’ fans (get it?) better be ready because this is likely to sell out fast!
