Conor McGregor has shared some words of encouragement with sister Erin ahead of her appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
The Dubliner will be taking part in this series of the dance competition, which kicks of this weekend, and her brother, who is no stranger to the limelight, told her it’s massively important to give it her all and stay true to herself.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Erin said, “Conor is delighted for me. He’s really encouraging. His thing is to just go out and be yourself.
“They [my family] believe in me more than I believe in myself. Everyone in the house is telling me to just be myself, but I’m like, ‘well what if they [the audience] don’t like me?’”
Erin admits she was initially cautious about signing up to DWTS but those closest to her encouraged her wholeheartedly.
“The whole family are behind me. It was them who pushed me to sign the contract.
“It was something I always wanted to do, but when I was asked, I hesitated for a long time. I thought, I don’t need this right now, I don’t need the anxiety and stress, but they were telling me to do it and talked me around.”
Catch Erin on the show, this Sunday on RTE One at 6.30pm.
