Conor McGregor has hit out at Floyd Mayweather in a foul-mouthed rant, despite the boxer’s attempts of making peace earlier in the week.
The pair stepped into the ring together last August, and while Floyd came out victorious, it seemed as though the two men put their feud behind them – but that obviously wasn’t the case.
Yesterday afternoon, Floyd praised the Dubliner ahead of his UFC comeback this October, telling Conor’s opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov, to watch his back.
Speaking to TMZ he said, “Conor’s not gonna back down and he’s not a scared fighter at all, win, lose or draw. He’s gonna come to fight.”

He continued, “I don’t really have a prediction [about who will win] because I’ve never seen the guy that’s facing Conor McGregor.
“From what I know, he’s a hell of a guy that’s on the ground – hell of a grappler – and he can wrestle.
“But fans want to see you stand up and fight. That’s what they like to see.
“Conor McGregor, he’s a tough competitor. He’s not gonna back down from anyone, he’s not scared, he’s a warrior.”

Floyd also offered his boxing club to Conor to use as a training facility, but this didn’t go down well with the Irish fighter.
Taking to social media, he said, “F**k the Mayweathers, except Senior and Rodger.
“There is no peace here kid. Step up or step down.”
We wonder what Floyd will have to say about this…
