Colin Farrell may be one of the biggest actors in Hollywood, but that doesn’t stop him from being mixed up with another star.
The Irishman took to the couch of Graham Norton this week, and revealed that he often gets mistaken for Colin Firth.
The star was promoting his new film The Killing of a Sacred Deer alongside co-star Nicole Kidman, when he revealed the common error adding that they aren’t very similar at all.
“Even though he beats me by an Oscar, about ten inches and a lot more decorum.”
With the audience in stitches, the actor explained that even when going to the gym, he has trouble with it.
“I tried to sign up for gym once and the woman got on the phone to sort out the membership and she said in a rather loud whisper, ‘Colin Firth is here’.”
The episode, which will air tonight (Friday) at 10.35pm on BBC1 has an incredible star-studded line-up.
Along with Colin and Nicole, Jane Fonda will be chatting to Graham. Matt Lucas and Brian Cranston are also stopping by as well as Niall Horan who will perform his new song.
On a more serious note, Colin addressed the Harvey Weinstein scandal this week, calling it horrific.
