Singer and TV personality Coleen Nolan has split from her boyfriend of one year, Michael Jones.
The Loose Women presenter and supermarket worker Michael are said to have broken up in April but kept things quiet.
With a source telling The Sun; “Coleen and Michael were together for just over a year and while they were happy at first, the spark fizzled out in the end. They quietly broke up in April but have stayed close.”
“She is looking forward to the future and possibly meeting someone new but there is no rush.”
Explaining that the singer was enjoying her time as a single women, they said; “Coleen enjoys the single life and has said she’ll soon be back online dating trying to find her dream match.”
Coleen then confirmed the split, with a representative sharing news of couple’s decision.
Saying; “Coleen and Michael are no longer together but remain great friends and are on good terms.”
Just last week Coleen attended her son Shane Jr’s wedding without Michael, causing some speculation of a split.
Otherwise, it was a fantastic day which the family really enjoyed, with the presenter admitted she got very emotional at the event.
“I knew I’d be emotional on the day. I didn’t realise how much I would be. I woke up at 6 and, as soon as I woke up, I wanted to cry” she said on daytime show Loose Women.
Continuing on, Coleen says that she took on a duty for her son, feeling it could be her last time.
“The second I woke up and he asked me to iron his shirt… and I thought okay, that’ll be my last mum duty!… As if he’s not going to ask me to iron his shirt again!”
Coleen and her son Shane Jr who also appeared on the show then joked, saying that it would take a lot more for Shane Jr to disappear.
“And I’m heading to yours for tea tonight as Maddie’s working” said Shane.
