And just like that, Coldplay’s time in Ireland has sadly come to an end.
Yes, Coldplay closed the European leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour in Croke Park last night, following four sold-out gigs at the iconic Dublin venue.
Taking to Instagram, the band shared a heartfelt message with their fans to show just how much their time here meant to them.
“Dublin – it’s hard to find the words,” they wrote alongside a photo of them bowing on stage.

“Those were four extra special nights that we’ll never forget. Thank you Croker, thank you GAA, thank you Dublin!!”.
The four-member-strong band, fronted by singer Chris Martin played for over 328,000 Irish fans over their four-night sold-out stint between August 29 and September 2.
The band later took to Instagram once again, this time sharing a photo of Chris sitting down with a grin on his face on a desolate Grafton Street to further thank the Irish fans for their generosity
“Thank you so much to everyone who welcomed us in Dublin, it was so fun.”
During their time in Ireland, the band made sure to pay tribute to some of our incredible musicians.
In one of their first gigs, they graciously paid tribute to Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan.
While on Sunday night, they invited Aslan up on stage to play a beautiful tribute to Christy Dignam.
