Irish contestant Cormac Murphy has been dumped from Love Island USA after just a week on the show.
The Clare man began his journey in the villa on July 11th, but after failing to find a connection with any of the other Islanders, he was voted out over the weekend.
Taking to social media he said, “Had an amazing experience in the villa and being coupled up with Caro Vie, even though it wasn’t meant to be.
“I have no regrets and enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve made some long life friends and I’m pumped to see the guys’ reactions to the new girls coming in.”
While the luck of the Irish wasn’t with Cormac, Maura Higgins is certainly making up for it in the UK version of the show.
The Longford lady coupled up with pro-dancer Curtis Pritchard, and it seems their relationship is going from strength to strength.
Her mum is thrilled she’s found someone who makes her so happy and would be delighted to welcome him back to Longford.
Speaking to VIP Magazine she said, “He seems like a really nice guy.
“I would like to see them together on the outside, of course, if Maura is happy. He would be very welcome to Longford for a cuppa and a bun!”
