Cillian Murphy has opened up about how himself and Anthropoid co-star Jamie Dornan got on while on set of their new film.
The two hunky actors play Czech soldiers in the World War Two flick, and spent months together filming in Prague- so naturally they developed quite the bromance!
Forty-year-old Cillian revealed to The Irish Sun that he considers Jamie now as a good friend.
“I’d say it like this, you know you make a lot of films and you spend time with people and it gets quite intimate, it’s quite intense…but there are only some times when you stay friends, and this was one of those,” he said.
Although the film tells the serious tale of the mission to assassinate Nazi officer Reinhard Heydrich, Hitler’s third in command, the two lads still found time for fun on set.
“We did a lot of messing on set. If you were in that space all the time you would just lose your mind, so we did keep it light, there was good fun,” he said.
Anthropoid is due to hit cinemas later this year.
