Chupi Sweetman has shared the beautiful first snaps of her baby girl, Aya.
After undergoing three years of IVF, the jewellery designer welcomed her first child to the world with husband Brian Durney last week, and the pair are loving every second as new parents.
“It’s been a long road but holding her in my arms, all I feel is gratitude that she is ours. It wasn’t that Aya’s arrival was Pinterest perfect, it was intense and complicated; but it was also beautiful and empowering,” she said.
“I have never felt as loved by my incredible partner Brian, supported by our wonderful independent midwife Ali Murphy and one of my dearest friends Lydia Sasse who coached, encouraged and supported. I know they say it takes a village to raise a child, well for me they were the heart of our village.
“If you need me I’ll be here holding our tiny daughter with my best friend by my side, wrapped up in love,” the new mum beamed.
Chupi and Brian were first introduced in April 2000, and tied the knot in September 2014.
They wed during a beautiful ceremony in Mount Druid, Mullingar, in front of their closest friends and family. The celebrations continued for five days, as they marked the gorgeous occasion.
