We’re always excited when a concert announcement comes our way here at VIP Magazine, and the latest one is no exception.
Christy Moore has just announced that he will play a total of eleven shows in Dublin’s Vicar St beginning later this year and falling into early 2024.
The singer-songwriter will play the iconic Dublin venue on November 22nd, 26th and 29th, as well as December 4th, 11th and 29th.
He will then take to stage once again in 2024 on January 2nd, 7th, 11th, 16th and 19th.
The folk singer played Vicar Street earlier this month, where he performed classics including Lisdoonvarna, Ride On and Ordinary Man.
Christy also holds a universal fan base and has released an impressive 30 solo albums throughout his career.
In 2007, he was named as Ireland’s greatest living musician in RTÉ’s People of the Year Awards.
While his latest album, Flying Into Mystery, which was released in 2021 won the Hot Press Folk Album of the Year.
Tickets for Christy Moore Live at Vicar Street go on sale this Thursday 3rd August on Ticketmaster at 9:00am.
