Celine Dion has announced a European tour, but much to the dismay of Irish fans, hasn’t not revealed a Dublin date.
The Canadian superstar will be kicking off the European leg of her ‘Celine Dion Live 2017’ tour on June 15th in Denmark.
She will also be playing the likes of Sweden, France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany, as well as four dates in the UK.
Celine is delighted to be coming across the pond, saying, “I’m so looking forward to returning to Europe this summer. These wonderful cities hold such special memories for me and I’m really excited to be coming back and seeing all my fans again.”
Her Irish followers, aren’t best pleased with the lack of Irish tours dates, and took to social media to voice their frustrations.
Fan Ciaran Ledgewood said, “I wish Celine Dion would bring her European [tour] to Dublin. Shame Ireland’s often left out with so many big stars.”
Danielle O’Leary commented, “Really wish Celine was coming to Dublin in June!” While Benny Lonergan added, “Very surprised [she’s not coming to] Dublin. Deffo be interested in going to see her.”
Perhaps she might surprise us all yet…
