As a nation, it doesn’t feel right that we can’t head out and have the craic on St Patrick’s Day. Although we are all spending it at home, if you feel like recapturing some of that Paddy’s Days spirit, why not tune into a live concert?
Monroe’s pub in Galway are hosting a free virtual concert tonight that you can watch from the comfort of your own home.
Featuring some of our favourite Irish performers on the night including; Lisa Lambe, Nigel Connell Music, Lúnasa, PictureHouse, CorinaK, Nathan Carter, Keith Harkin, Don Stiffe Music, Michelle Lally Music, Trad on the Prom, Eleanor Shanley and guests.
The virtual concert is free to watch here at home, or abroad, but organisers have asked if viewers could donate to child-loss charity, Rosabel’s Rooms in association with Irish Hospice Foundation.
They provide much-needed support to bereaved families, and donations, no matter how small are very much welcomed.
Tune in tonight at 8pm GMT to celebrate La Fheile Phádraig 2021with some craic and ceol, shamrocks are optional!
