Irish author Cecelia Ahern has put an end to claims that she’s taking a year off in her career, and instead has revealed she’s got not one, but two books coming out in the foreseeable future.
The 34-year-old previously admitted that she’s “not writing next year”, but has since said she won’t be completely stepping away from her work.
Taking to Twitter, the top Irish author said, “Reading reports that I’m off next year. Not true. New novel LYREBIRD is out in October 2016, Flawed sequel PERFECT is out in March 2017.”
The Dubliner recently told the Irish Mirror, “When I had my daughter I took a year out and I’m not writing next year but I’m going to be publishing books. So I’m going to take a year out creatively.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I notice when I come back it’s all fresh again. Everyone needs a little break,” she said
Well we’re delighted to hear she’s got some new novels coming our way!
