Cecelia Ahern has paid the sweetest tribute to her best friend, Yvonne Connolly.
The pair have been close for a number of years, but now, Cecelia has immortalised their bond in print.
In a beautiful gesture, the Irish author dedicated her new book, Perfect, to her bestie.
At the front of the novel, the tribute reads, “For Yvonne Connolly, the perfect friend.”
The following page then defines the word perfect, as, “Ideal, model, faultless, flawless, consummate, quintessential, exemplary, best, ultimate; (of a person) having all the requited or desirable elements, qualities or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.”
Yvonne is absolutely over the moon with the gesture, saying, “A heart stopping story and dedication. I keep replaying this and crying. Thank you, C…”
