Since retiring from MMA last year, Cathal Pendred has been making a name for himself in the tv and movie world, landing exciting roles in Ireland as well as across the pond.
The Dubliner was recently working on the remake of Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, as well as tv series Ray Donovan, but has now landed a role on another hit American tv show, Into the Badlands.
The former fighter is currently filming on set of the new show, which will premiere in 2017.
Cathal’s girlfriend Michele McGrath previously told VIP Magazine that she’s delighted with everything he has accomplished to date. She told admitted that while he travels quite a bit with the job, it’s nothing new for them both.
“I am so proud of Cathal and all he has achieved so far,” she said. “I am well used to Cathal travelling for work, as he was away a lot when he was competing in the UFC, so I don’t mind it at all.”
Meanwhile, Michele has been busy with her own career, and is currently collaborating with Irish band Keywest on some new music.
