Caroline Flack has made a surprising admission ahead of her show in Dublin next week.
The 37-year-old will be performing in Crazy For You alongside UK actor, Tom Chambers.
Caroline, who plays jilted fiance Irene, reveals she won’t be nervous about making her stage debut – until the very end of the show.
“It’s a lot of fun. You release all your inner demons through someone else, not yourself,” she tells VIP Magazine.
“I find the hardest part is the bow. That’s suddenly when you become you again. I get really self-conscious when I’ve done the bow.
“When I’m Irene, I’m fine, I can be mean to everybody [laughs]. But when I bow, I’m like, ‘hey, it’s me again!’”
While she is new to the world of theatre, Caroline has years of experience fronting some of the biggest shows on tv.
Before the cameras roll or she takes a step out on stage, the top presenter admits she has a little routine she must go through.
“I have a little mantra that I say to myself, but I can’t say it because it’s too embarrassing!
“I need to have a moment’s silence before I go on, though. I need that moment of calm and prep. I’m usually quite loud, but I have to allow myself to get in that zone.”
