Carl Mullan teams up with his wife for his latest project

Carl Mullan has just announced his latest project — and it’s safe to say fans are thrilled.

The 2FM host took to Instagram this week to tease an exciting new venture with his wife, Aisling.

And what is it, you ask? Just a brand-new podcast… of course!

Yes, the pair are taking their relationship to the next level, and we are here for it.

The podcast, which is named How Are Ya Lovie? with Aisling and Carl, will debut on Monday, 21st July.

Sharing the news online, Carl wrote: “Hello is that a new podcast? How are ya lovie how are ya getting on? Coming this Monday.”

People were naturally delighted at the couple’s new podcast, with fans and friends alike taking to the comments to share their well-wishes.

“Exciting!!” shared presneter Katja Mia.

While Carl’s former 2FM co-hosts Doireann Garrihy and Donncha O’Callaghan both commented several emojis in celebration of the news.

Despite the excitement, Carl’s new venture is not exactly what some had in mind for him, with many speculating that he might replace Joe Duffy on Liveline after he participated in a sketch where he became the host of the show.

Setting the record straight on the rumour, Carl joked: “I would like to clear up the confusion and confirm that yes, I am absolutely definitely in the running to take over from Joe Duffy even though I’ve just started a brand new show on 2FM.”

But look, at least we have a brand new podcast we can enjoy!
