Carl Mullan has shared some gorgeous snaps with his now wife, Aisling as the pair celebrate their recent nuptials. Posting to social media he shared a photo of them enjoying a bottle of rosé on a hot tub at their venue, Ballybeg House.
Captioning the photo the 2FM presenter said; “WE’RE MARRIED! From both of us, thank you so much everyone for all the gorgeous messages and well wishes. We’re just home and still taking in what was the best few days of our lives.”
“We’re taking some time to enjoy it all and take it all in but just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone.”
Carl and Aisling tied the knot in Co. Wicklow surrounded by friends and family last week. Celebrating their big day, the radio presenter shared a stunning photo of the newlyweds after the ceremony, captioning it; “The love of my life” while his pals shared their well wishes in the comments.
Fellow radio presenter Jennifer Zamparelli said; “What a photo” while Louise McSharry commented; “Congratulations!!”
Influencer Niamh Cullen wrote; “ohhhh may you both be always happy as you are today congratulations The Mullan’s”
Carl’s 2fm co-stars also showed up to support him on the special day, with his Breakfast Show co-hosts Doireann Garrihy and Donncha O’Callaghan in attendance.
We spoke to Carl about their nuptials for the latest issue of VIP Magazine and he told us how excited he was before their big day.
He said; “I know I’m going to be a blubbering mess when I see her. I’ll be one of those grooms who won’t stop crying!”
Speaking about how much they plan to share on social media from the occasion he said; “I’ll definitely be sharing stuff, but I won’t be on my phone for the day. Even though I do share a lot, I keep more things private than people might realise.”He also spoke with us about their plans for after the big day and what they were doing for their honeymoon.
He said; “I’ll be taking a few weeks off straight after the wedding. We’re going to spend some time going around Ireland and of course we’ll bring Daibhi with us. We might even bring Angie the dog!”
“We might do something else a little bit later on in the year, but having all of our family around, we don’t want to be rushing off immediately to go somewhere abroad. We want to appreciate and enjoy that! A couple of weeks away to relax and reset, and enjoy some family time together will be special.”
A huge congratulations to Carl and Aisling on their big day!
