For the first time ever VILA is on an international search for extraordinary talent. The VILA TALENT AWARDS is about finding individuals who take fashion personally, people who understand both the artistic and the commercial side of fashion, and who can’t wait to share both.
Here’s what they are looking for:
One extraordinarily talented Designer
A person who will create the perfect 5-piece capsule collection for VILA to complete our party season 2018. We are looking for someone who understands both the artistic and the commercial side of fashion and who can’t wait to share both.
One extraordinarily talented Photographer
A person who will dazzle us with her or his unique take on street style photography. We are looking for someone who loves the impulsive, caught-in-the-moment snapshot of a fashionable woman on the street.
Chosen participants will compete with European talent, and each country will find one talent from each group. A local jury will make the decision of who to send on to the pan-European finals. Here, an international jury will make the final decision.
The Irish jury is comprised of talented experts Aideen Feely, Celebrity Stylist for VIP Magazine, Linda Conway, Fashion Editor, Stellar Magazine and Tara O’Brien, BESTSELLER, Marketing & PR Manager.
The winner of the design competition will have his or her collection put into production and sold in VILA shops all over Europe. The winner will receive a payment of €5000 for the collection and for his or her participation in the campaign shoot as the head stylist.
The winner of the photo competition will shoot the capsule collection, designed by the winner of the design competition, in one of Europe’s fashion capitals. The winner will receive €5000.
