Caitriona Perry has officially returned to RTE following the arrival of her first child earlier this year.
The broadcaster welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the world with her husband Richard over the summer, but after enjoying a few months of newborn bliss, her maternity leave has sadly come to an end.
Sharing a selfie from studio, Caitriona said, “Back at it. Tune in at 6.01pm. Been a while!”
Caitriona recently revealed that while it’ll be hard to leave her little girl, she’s excited to get back into the swing of things.
“I’m looking forward to going back to work, work is a big part of who I am,” she told the Irish Independent.
“I think it’s better for me and my daughter that I’m doing what I love, and that she can see that you can be a mom and work really hard as well.”
