Ailbhe Garrihy looked stunning as ever as she wed long-term love Ruaidhri Hehir during a romantic ceremony in Doolin, Co. Clare this month.
The PR guru stunned in a boho style dress with lace detailing and capped sleeves, and while the dress was incredible, we were in awe of her hair and make-up.
A natural beauty, Ailbhe simply enhanced her features on the day, and celebrity make-up artist Michelle Field reveals how we can recreate the look ourselves.
“For her big day, Ailbhe didn’t want to stray too far away from her normal make-up look, so we kept her skin fresh with a bright glow,” Michelle told VIP Magazine.
Ailbhe’s skin was prepped with Seavite moisturiser to ensure a lovely hydrated base, before Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Finnish was applied all over as a primer.
For a foundation that would stay in place all day, Michelle used Nars Sheer Glow, mixed with All Day Luminous Light Weight Foundation.
Afterwards, Nars concealer was used to cover any blemishes, before everything was set in place with Mac Studio Fix Pressed Powder.
Enhancing her cheekbones and facial structure, Michelle used Charlotte Tilbury’s Film Star Bronze and Glow, before adding some Nars Blush Orgasm to her cheeks, for a pop of colour.
“We used all of our favourites from Charlotte Tilbury to make her blue eyes pop,” Michelle told us.
She applied Bette and Golden Goddess all over the lid, before going in with MAC Coffee and Teddy pencil liners, smoking out the eyes.
Finishing up the look, she applied mascara before using Inglot’s AMC liner to really define her peepers.
For her lips, Ailbhe wanted to keep it nude and neutral; a timeless look.
Michelle lined the lips with NYX Nude Suede Shoes before applying Charlotte Tilbury’s Penelope Pink lipstick.
After adding some NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu, the beautiful bride was ready to go.
