Brian Dowling has bid an emotional goodbye to Dancing with the Stars, following his elimination from the competition over the weekend.
The tv star, who was partnered up with Laura Nolan, faced Sinead O’Carroll and Ryan McShane in the first dance-off of the series.
Brian and Laura sadly lost out on their place in the show, and taking to social media afterwards, he said, “What can I say only thank you all so much for keeping us on the show for the last 7 weeks.
“Yes it been one of the toughest things I’ve ever done but also one of the best.
“The last two years of my life have been the most vulnerable and in doing this, I was going to have to push myself way out of my comfort zone and I did.”
He continued, “Not only did I get the amazing opportunity of dancing with you Laura, a world champion, but also met a fabulous group of people who I hope are now my friends and will know me for many, many years to come.
“To the final 7 good luck and remember…. keep dancing!”
He’ll certainly be missed!
