Brendan O’Carroll has shared his thoughts on the ‘brawl’ that broke out during his show in Glasglow last week.
The punch-up happened at ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’ D’Tour’ show at Glasgow’s Hydro arena on Saturday night, one of three nights it took place. During the set, it’s believed that a fight broke out among two members of the audience, causing much confusion among everyone else wondering if it was part of the show or not.
One person wrote on social media afterward: “There were 7,000 people there, he (Brendan) didn’t notice any brawl. He did stop for what he understood was a medical emergency.”
A spokesperson for Brendan says that he was convinced the fight was actually a medical emergency, and so he stopped the show to allow for assistance. It has since come out that what was actually taking place was a ‘punch up’.
Attendees said that the argument lasted for around 10 minutes, with security intervening to break it apart.
There since has been no arguments for the other nights of the show. The show will be on Irish soil later this year, in Belfast’s SSE Arena, November 4 and 5 and Dublin’s 3Arena on November 11 and 12.
