Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon have teamed up once again to launch a brand new podcast.
And before you ask, no it’s not a new season of their much loved The Lennon Courtney Podcast – sadly!
In fact, this time round the pair will be looking into the history of certain words and phrases and why we can’t really be saying them in our daily vocabulary.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news the pair said: “Our brand new podcast called Can’t Say That Anymore! Is coming next week.

“The saying goes ‘sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me, but in 2024 – we know that this ain’t true and in this series, we want to really understand why we can’t use certain words and phrases anymore.
“In each episode, we’ll be joined by a guest who’ll share what it’s like to have language weaponized against them.
“Can’t Say That Anymore! Is out next Thursday. See you then!”
Some guests they have already teased include TD Holly Cairns and Neuroscientist Brian Pennie.
As previously mentioned, this is not the first time Brendan and Courtney have teamed up for a podcast,
The Lennon Courtney Podcast was where high culture and (un)guilty pleasures met, where each week, the pair explored a sandwich of cultural phenomena and social issues laced with pop culture.
So you could say, their latest endeavour is quite the change-up!
Either way, whatever they’re chatting about, we’ll be tuned in.
