Bono’s daughter, Memphis Eve Sunny Day Hewson has opened up about her relationship with her father, praising the support he gives her.
Memphis, who prefers to go by the name Eve is doing very for herself, making waves in the world of acting, she is currently starring in Netflix series ‘Behind Her Eyes‘. But, Eve credits her dad’s ‘pushiness’ for her success, admitting that he is her biggest fan. Speaking with Irish Mirror she says:
“I always say my dad’s a crazy stage mom with me. Whenever we’re out, he’s always introducing me and talking about my work”
“He gives my full IMDb credits to whoever we’re having dinner with. And my mom is very supportive too, so that‘s really nice.”
Eve plays the role of a single mother in ‘Behind Her Eyes‘, who gets caught up in a dark world when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss. The second eldest of Bono and wife Ali’s four children, she admits that being surrounded by her dad and other creative minds made it inevitable that she too would gravitate towards the spotlight.

“It’s hard to be around such a family like mine, where there’s so much going on, and not get that bug. I had an amazing childhood.”

However, as critical as her father is of her, Eve says that she and her siblings are the same with their dad. Regularly encouraging him to do better, Eve added:
“My sisters and my brothers are like micromanagers with my dad and we don’t shy away from telling him what we think
“We like to tell him what to wear and what to listen to and things like, ‘That shot’s not good’, and ‘This verse isn’t good’. We are very involved.”
