Bride-to-be Bonnie Ryan has opened up about finding her dream wedding dress, revealing the first one she ever tried on, is the one she’ll get married in.
The professional make-up artist went dress shopping with her mum and sister over the weekend, and fell instantly in love with the first frock she put on.
“When you know, you know,” she beamed. “I went in and said I was trying on this one first. I was in the fitting room by myself, and thought, well I think I’m done.”
“I was so excited to walk out and show my mum and Lottie. You’re only allowed bring two people with you to the appointments at the moment so they were there with me. I knew they loved it as much as I did.
“It was a really special moment, and something I had been so looking forward to. Yesterday and today, I woke up both days and was like, wow, it wasn’t a dream, it really happened.”
Bonnie’s long-term love John popped the question last year during a romantic trip to New York.
The pair were first introduced to each other over a decade ago – and Bonnie admits it’s wonderful that they’ve been able to mark so many milestones together.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, Bonnie said, “We met when I was 11 and became friends instantly. I’m lucky we have grown up together.”
The happy couple also recently bought a house together, and she tells us, “It’s our biggest achievement to date. I feel extremely lucky to have it and I couldn’t love it more.
“I love being at home, I love looking after the house and decorating… it’s so much fun.”
