Model turned actress Emily Ratajkowski is rumoured to be in Ireland, and has been chatting about how in love she is with our Emerald Isle.
The stunning 24-year-old posted the below picture on Instagram yesterday and wrote: “Home away from home #Bantry.”
Even though her exotic looks and surname might not give it away, the model is half-Irish and is proud of her roots.
“I absolutely love Ireland. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth and I have strong ties here. Both my grandmothers are from Ireland,” she said.

The svelte model practically grew up in the quiet town in the rebel county and has fond memories of her idyllic childhood in the south-west.
“I go back any time I get the opportunity and I have many friends who I still hang out with in the local pubs. I have great childhood memories cow-tipping, going off and getting lost in the bog for hours and coming home covered in dirt.” Sounds very normal to us!

Emily has admitted to the Independent that she is fond of an aul tipple, and her drink of choice is not exactly what you might expect!
“I love the pubs – the fact that you can find all ages there. It’s so easygoing, an old man could be dancing with a young girl having a bit of fun and no one bats an eyelid. It’s so relaxed and everyone is so friendly. I’m more of a Smithwick’s or Bulmer’s girl than a pint of Guinness.” she said
Emily rose to fame after appearing in the music video for Blurred Lines. She also starred alongside Ben Affleck in Gone Girl.
