Lisa Jordan has opened up about balancing time between her children after welcoming her second baby.
The blogger AKA Just Jordan welcomed her second daughter Bowie earlier this month as has shared her joy at how good her daughter Pearl is being.
“You’ve no idea how good Pearl has been. She just loves her sister, it just melts my heart,” Lisa said on Instagram.
“We were worried she’d be a little bit jealous because she’s the most lovable child. She loves other kids, and she adores the baby, so much so that she doesn’t want anyone else around her.”
Lisa added that she is delighted to have welcomed her second girl, giving Pearl a baby sister.
“I just love that they’re sisters. I never had a sister, I’m so happy to give Pearl a sister. I know it’s great to have brothers as well, I have brothers and it’s great but sisters, I just want them to fight over clothes,” she joked. “And they’re close in age!”
“Trust me, I’d tell you if they’re not getting on, and it was difficult. It’s not at all, she’s a dream.”
The Cork influencer admitted that she does feel guilty about not spending enough time with two-year-old Pearl.
“The only thing I am a little bit upset about is I feel like I’m with this baby all the time, because I’m feeding her myself so I’m trying to balance both. I do find that challenging, and I feel guilty because I’m not giving Pearl the 100% attention that I used to give her but I know it will balance out in the end,” she added.
“My husband is off for ages so we’re both trying to do stuff with her, but she doesn’t mind it’s just me who gets the guilt. I look at her and she’s playing dolls and I’m thinking I should be playing with her but I’m feeding this baby and I’m like okay I will go to Pearl after, but really she doesn’t even mind it’s just all in my head, so anyone who feels that way is totally normal.”
