Due to unforeseen circumstances, Blink-182 have sadly had to cancel their upcoming Irish gigs.

The American rock band were due to play in Belfast on the 4th of September, followed by a gig in Dublin on the 5th of September as part of their 2023/2024 World tour.

Taking to social media today, the band released a statement where they revealed they would have to postpone their upcoming concerts in Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States,” the statement read.

“The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed.

“More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”

The tour in question marks the band’s biggest tour yet with the three musicians, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, reuniting for the first time in nearly 10 years.

Sending well wishes to Travis and his family at this time.
