Blathnaid Treacy will be replacing Louise McSharry on her RTE 2FM radio.
The presenter will be filling in on the daytime music show as Louise takes maternity leave in preparation for her second child.
The news was announced today, on Louise’s last day on the airwaves.
Taking to Instagram, the VIP Style Award nominee revealed that Blathnaid will be taking the reigns of the show until June, when Jennifer Zamparelli’s brand new show kicks off.
Today is my last day on 10-1 on @RTE2fm. I’ve really enjoyed being on during the day time and working with a lovely team instead of on my lonesome! @JenniferMaguire will be kicking off in June, and @BlathnaidT will be minding these hours in the meantime. Great gals all round!

Other new arrivals to RTE 2FM are Doireann Garrihy and Eoghan McDermott’s new breakfast show, and Jenny Greene’s exciting return to the airwaves!
We can’t wait to hear Bláthnaid back in action!
