Big Tom has been sadly missed by family, friends and country music fans alike since his sad passing, at the age of 81.
In a statement back in April, his family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Big Tom McBride (RIP).
“Dad passed away peacefully in the company of his family.
“He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
“May he rest in peace.”
We’re looking forward to seeing the statue take pride of place in Big Tom’s hometown.
