Tommy Bowe has just been announced as the newest addition to the RTE show, Getaways.
The Ireland rugby star will be joining the team of Vogue Williams, Mairead Ronan and Joe Lindsay for the new series of the show when it airs in 2018.
Tommy has said the career move will be challenging but exciting, and can’t wait to get started.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Getaways team this year,” he gushed. “I was disappointed after my injury in the six nations but this gives me an opportunity to explore another avenue while preparing myself for next season.
“Being a part of a great series like Getaways is a dream come true for me and I’m looking forward to the new challenge.”
Filming will begin this week as Tommy jets of to Ibiza. He will also be visiting New York, Porto and the French Riviera for the holiday show.
The episodes of Getaways will air on RTE and BBC Northern Ireland early next year. We can’t wait to see him in action!
