Bernard Brogan and wife Keira Doyle have welcomed their third child into the world.
Sharing her arrival with his 65k followers, Bernard first announced the news last week on his Instagram stories, with the simple caption: “It’s a girl!”
Now, the sports star has shared his little girl’s name, along with some adorable snaps of him cradling the tiny tot, along with the new family of five.
Confirming her name, he captioned the post:
“So grateful for our beautiful baby Aifric!”
“Thanks you @keekib22 for our amazing family and to @rotundahospital for minding both so well! #blessed”
Baby Aifric was born last week, making their two twin boys, Donagh and Keaden proud big brothers.
In 2019 the 36-year-old retired from GAA, now working alongside his wife Kiera in PR. Although he no longer plays on the field, Bernard has shared that he plans to pass on his love for the sport to his young boys.
Previously speaking with RTE’s 2FM about fatherhood and his children he said; “They will definitely be playing GAA. The values that you get and the lessons that you learn from team sport, I think is something I have brought into every part of my life.”
