Ben Foden reveals marrying Jackie Smith was one of the best decisions of his life, as they mark their first anniversary together.
The pair wed during an incredibly intimate ceremony on a boat in Nantucket, Massachusetts surrounded by only a handful of family members. They were dating for two weeks before they decided to get hitched.
Remembering their big day, Ben shared a number of snaps from the boat and said, “Exactly one year ago today I walked down that wooden walkway and made one of the best decisions of my life – one of the craziest but still one of the best! Love you with everything I have Jackie. Thank you for loving me.”
Similarly, Jackie added, “Year one down and in the books, what an incredible life we already have made together. You are my everything Benny. Thank you for making me a wife, making me a mommy, taking care of me, supporting me and loving me each and every day. I love you honey.”
The rugby star, who already has two children from a previous relationship with Una Healy, recently welcomed his third child to the world with wife Jackie.
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Farrah in May of this year, but due to restrictions surrounding Covid-19, Ben couldn’t introduce her to her siblings Aoife-Belle and Tadhg for a number of weeks.
He’s now spending some quality time with the three kids in the US, while Una completes her move back to Ireland.
