For February

With a new bank holiday, you could take a long weekend off, extending 3 days to 5 if you book off Thursday the 2nd and Friday the 3rd of February.

For Easter

If you’re wise with your Easter weekend this year, you could book of Friday the 7th of April, and Tuesday the 11th, giving you a full five days off.

For Summer

If you fancy a summer getaway but don’t want to use up a full week’s worth of annual leave days, take note of this year’s bank holiday dates. We have a Monday off in both June and August, meaning that with weekends you could only use up 4 annual leave days to get a full 9 days away.

For October

If you’re keen for an extra long weekend in October, the bank holiday falls on the second last day, Take a look at whatever annual leave days you have left and cash them in around the 30th of October to make the most of your time off.
