At last!
We finally have a release date for Bad Sisters series two and it’s not that long off…
Yes, Apple TV+ has announced that the second series of Sharon Horgan’s award-winning comedy-drama Bad Sisters will premiere on Wednesday 13 November.
Rejoice!
The eight-episode second season will reunite creator and star Sharon with Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson, while Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, and Peter Claffey will also join the cast.
Meanwhile, Daryl McCormack, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell are all set to star.
As far as what we can expect to see happen this time around, Apple TV+ said: “Two years after the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed, and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.”
Speaking previously with The Hollywood Reporter, Sharon teased: “It’s just more sisters going nuts, doing things badly, getting it wrong but really loving each other through it all.”
The first two episodes of the new season will be available on 13 November, with new episodes available every Wednesday after that until Christmas Day.
Not a bad way to spend the festive season!
And with another three months to go, we say it’s time for a quick rewatch of the first season to get us ready for 13 November.
Who’s joining?
